Should you find yourself in the unfortunate circumstances of divorce proceedings, would you know what pension information to obtain?

To request a Cash Equivalent Transfer Value (CETV) for your pension, you would need to complete a PD1 and PD2 if you are an active member (PD1 only if you are deferred) available at www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/nhs-pensions

The NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) is a Special Health Authority and an Arm's Length Body of the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC).

You can nominate individual(s) to receive a death gratuity lump sum from your pension?

Depending on your status in the NHS Pension Scheme, you may be able to choose who receives a lump sum pay out from your pension. Go to www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/nhs-pensions for more information.

Did you know...

There are 3 sections to the NHS Pension Scheme. They are:

The 1995 section
The 2008 section
The 2015 scheme

There are members of anyone of these sections, and there are members of all 3.

Members will need to check their Total Reward Statements to see which section they are in.

Hi all, sorry its been a while! We've been getting our new home up and running!

We can now start helping people with understanding their NHS Pensions. We provide 121 support and group workshops at our lovely pub, the White Lead in Hebburn.
