Total custom made 2x12 cabinet

Made completely from recycled materials, and speakers left over from a previous cabinet build!

A 2x12 custom made angled cabinet for the whole basis of gigging using a microphone through front of house PA system and top speaker acting as a monitor whilst on stage.

I had a couple of leftover USA made Sheffield 1230 speakers that were made and modelled on the Celestion G12M ‘Greenback’ speakers under input and supervision by EVH himself.

Made from recycled wood and reliced to taste.

No doubt this will complement my new head perfectly!!

Had fun making this one, and turned out well too!

See it on stage soon with 🎸🎸

Wanted one of these for quite a while now.

One came up locally and I jumped on the opportunity!

Bugera 333XL - based on a Peavey JSX Joe Satriani Signature head.

When I got it it was in dire need of cleaning and bit TLC.

Now it looks as good as it sounds!

Definitely haven't been disappointed!

Modification done to the internals to aid overheating.

120w all valve head.

4x EL84 power tubes
4x 12AX7 preamp tubes.
Built in noise gate
Three channel (clean, crunch, lead) with XL (fat) switches.
Inbuilt spring reverb
And inbuilt boost pedal.

This head really is a monster at a fraction of the Peavey price.

Just absolutely adore this! ❤️🎸🤘🏻

So about three weeks ago, my daughter said she wanted a guitar for her sixth birthday. 🎸

So - after a bit testing the water, a bit trial and error and making sure she was left/right handed.
We found out she wanted a right handed 3/4 electric guitar.

So the search started. I considered new, old, second hand. But the market was pretty dry.

I managed to find a Squier Stratocaster Mini complete with a VOX Mini 2 G3 battery 3w amplifier.

Once we got it home, I started to quiz her on what colour she wanted, as black/white wasn't really a girly option.

She decided on simply - Rose Gold.

And what a job I had on my hands.

With two weeks to go. Strip, Repair, Prime, Paint, and Lacquer and time to harden off, reassemble and setup and restring.

Uphill task!

Here are the pictures from start to finish.

We completed on
Rose Gold body,
Satin White pickguard,
Rose Gold pickup covers,
Chrome hardware,
Rose Gold k***s and selector switch k**b.

The action is perfect. Super easy to play. Super light. And she's super happy with it

Proud Daddy! ❤️☺️

Now it's time to Jam out! 🎸🤟

Every so often you get one that turns into an absolute nightmare.

This 2004 Epiphone G400 SG has been through it all!

From a totally battered body, which needed extensive repair.

TWO failed paint jobs.

To a total experiment with the paint.

The final finished result is nothing short of stunning.

Metallic Silver base with Metallic Black burst creating a deep and beautiful silverburst.

Guitar is nigh on stock from the guitar that was dismantled.

Originally Cherry red with a short pickguard.

Now sporting a full 3 ply Black pickguard.

Original pickups, original Maestro Vibrola

Which is ultra rare in left hand variant.

Super pleased with the end product.

And sounds exactly how an SG should!

Cannot wait to test this out tonight! 🖤

I got this guitar to do from Russ Martin about three months ago which underwent major cosmetic surgery 😜

New paint job from the standard ibanez factory blue, repaired all body dings etc.

Added a killswitch mod to add just that little bit something extra.

Full fret job filed and crowned off. And the rosewood fretboard oiled and hydrated.

Russ asked me about a month ago to fit new tuners to help with tuning stability.

So a set of Wilkinson EZ Lok Machine heads were fitted, unfortunately a rare mishap happed and has left to repair the headstock.

I approached Russ with an idea to match the headstock to the body with new decals.

And the end result is simply stunning.

The final touch was exchanging 10 gauge strings, for a lighter set of 9s.

Finally fully set up for the new set of 9 gauge strings with a super low action.

This guitar is now punching well above its price point.

And looks the part too! 😍🎸

Well,

This one took longer than I had hoped for, but the end result is simply stunning!

Originally this guitar was a to***co burst with white pickguard and completely standard T-Style set up.

From where this came from, The owner requested something completely different colour wise.
A beautiful colour painted by G Baxter Auto Bodies

The colour is called 'Mercury' a metallic silver base with a metallic gunmetal grey burst.

New Warman Guitars T-Rail blazer Hotrail in the bridge.

New Wilkinson ashtray bridge with brass saddles, and roller string trees just to aid tuning stability.

This guitar has an ultra low set up and plays beautifully.

This Telecaster has been converted from a top loader bridge to string through with thanks to the high quality chrome ferrules from Vanson Guitar parts.

Been a fun transformation, and sounds as good as it looks!

On to the next one! 🎸
