Oh my!! It's hot enough out there for there to be flamingos in the garden! All fans are on top speed (best get the leccy topped up!!). How are you all coping in the heat 🥵 🔥 ☀️? I am still managing to crochet, of course! I am putting the finishing touches to our Christmas in July project later on. Any ideas 💡 🤔 👀 as to what it might be? X

FRIDAS FLOWERS 💐 BLANKET ... Debbe Jennings from our Wednesday evening crochet group is well.on her way to completing her blanket. Debbe first came to us at one of our "Learn to Crochet" Workshops which we hosted at Sew Lovely, and has been a regular at our Wednesday evening crochet group ever since. Before she came to us (only last year) she couldn't crochet at all and now she is able to read patterns and work on intricately detailed designs such as this Janie Crow heirloom blanket!

Friday 3rd July (10am until 12 noon)

HAPPY CAMPERS 😊 ... I have been working on my caravan project over the weekend and now, she has climbing roses around the door AND I have given her a name ... "Rosie" after all her roses 🌹 😍
DEFINITELY, definitely, definitely working on the inside now, I PROMISE!!

WE'VE BEEN WORKING SO HARD on our Crochet projects over the past week or so .... here's a round-up of all your hard work ... Rachel's Thumbelina now has a hair-do, we've got completed bunnies 🐰 (Betty and Carol) bags, sunhats and a crocheted Summer top are work in progress - Dora's completed Tulip 🌷 stitch pencil ✏️ case (which inspired 3 other ladies to make one of their own), Frida's Flowers 💐 blanket hexagons (Kirsty and Anna) and 3 completed bags from Amy, Anna and Tracey at our Wednesday evening group - not to mention Bronson's lamb and earrings . I am still working on my crocheted caravan, ironing out any snags in the pattern and construction, to pave the way for our Caravanners - Bronson, Betty, Michelle and Claire xx
