To everyone who’s shared and supported our Bonfire Night post – thank you! We’re proud to be backing this brilliant Hastings tradition and helping fund its future.
🔥 And now for some tasty news…
We’re thrilled to welcome The Doughnut Man to the celebration! Positioned on both sides of Humbug Gifts, he’ll be serving up:
🍩 Hot, fresh doughnuts
☕ Warming drinks
🍔 Juicy burgers
🌭 Classic hot dogs
🍭 Fluffy candy floss
All this will be available along Pelham Arcade – the perfect spot to grab your light-up goodies for all the flashy fun, fuel up with refreshments and warm food, and then find your ideal viewing point to enjoy the rest of the evening.
So swing by the only place you need this Saturday – Humbug Gifts and Pelham Arcade – and make it a night to remember!

Few more images of what will be available we have a massive range of flashing novelties and Our prices wont be beaten as we Know the business inside out, so pop down say hello grab a bargain and don't forget the first 30 customers will receive a free gift as thank you for helping us support the event with funding.
We will have around about 25 different styles of light up novelties to choose from so no need to go anywhere else.....

Hastings Borough Bonfire Society’s Torchlit Procession and Fireworks. Saturday 18th October 2025.

Timings
This is a live event, so all timings are approximate. Please come and enjoy the whole event : The Procession, The Bonfire and The Fireworks.

18:45 – Lighting of the beacon on the East Hill.
19:15 – The Torchlit Procession commences from White Rock
21:00 – The bonfire on the beach is lit. Followed by the Firework Display.

Do's and Dont's.
Do not pick up any discarded torches – they will be collected by the firecarts.
You must not cross or climb any safety barriers – they are there for your safety.
Do not try to join the procession or gain entry to the firesite.
Do not bring your own fireworks – this is dangerous and against the law.
Please do not bring pets to the event – they are bound to be frightened.
Please comply with any requests from the marshals.
Please do not leave litter.
Please do buy an official HBBS programme for full details of our event and other informative content. This helps to fund our bonfire events.
Please give generously in the collection buckets during the events – all monies collected go to local charities.
Avoid buying flashy light toys from the mobile vendors, as they don't contribute back to the Society
DO buy flashy light toys from Humbug Gift Shop, as they DO contribute back to the society!
