"Sun Racket is the brand new album from legendary Boston trio Throwing Muses. The band have now been together for 30 years, and this is their 10th album.

The follow up to 2013’s ‘Purgatory/Paradise’ is an outpouring of modal guitars, reverbed shapes, echoey drums and driving bass, set behind Kristen Hersh’s well-thumbed notebook of storylines. A ten-song opus of suitably wrought tales set against a wall of sound that’s at once calm and ethereal, before building into glorious cacophonous crescendos.

Originally released in 1997, this is the first time ever that the record has been released on vinyl, and comes on 180g clear vinyl, limited to only 200 copies worldwide!

With a rich history within the 90’s DIY/Indie/Emo scene, Pohgoh was in a small league of female fronted bands of the era alongside peers like Rainer Maria & Jejune. This is a welcome release ahead of the newly reformed bands sophomore LP.
