Its release day here at Geek Retreat Hartlepool. And todays release bring some awesome products.

The first off in todays releases we have the Pokémon Mega Moonlit Tins and Lumiose city mini tins. Both of these are limited so grab yours while stocks last.

Secondly we have the release of The One Piece Card Game new set OP16 -The Time Of Battle. This new expansion focuses on the iconic Paramount War (Marineford) saga, introducing fresh support for Marine, Impel Down, and Whitebeard Pirates archetypes. so get ready to set sail and search for your favourite deck, character or art.

Last night we were privileged to host the One Piece card game Extra Last Battle. This event was a constructed - extra regulation battle with some seriously cool prizing. Each player received a participation promo pack with top 8 receiving an additional one, then top 4 received the exclusive promotional OP14-033 Perona card, and finally the winner received a highly exclusive, EB02 - 006 Yamato Serial Number Card.

With so much on the line we had a massive turnout and some fierce games but of course there can only be one king of the pirates and last night that went to Rick. Congratulations to Rick. Well done and thank you to all those who showed up to play

We also have D&D campaigns every sunday beginning at 2pm, today we have Gav organising a one-shot.

also feel free to come down and par-take in some miniature painting, we have paints to be able to use if you don't have any.

This is going to be you final reminder for tomorrows Pokémon League Cup. this is the Perfect order season so for your entry it will be £15 with 2 pack of perfect order. This event will be a swiss event with the winner in each division will come home with this quarters super cool matt which features art of the Mega evolutions that we have seen so far in the TCG. Registration starts at 10 ready for start at 11 so get yourself down and makes sure you have your play.pokemon ID ready so we can get you all signed up as soon as possible.

Friday night magic is in full swing tonight with almost 20 players all battling it out with their favourite decks. Along side that we have our regular DnD group in causing all sorts on mayhem.

Meanwhile our staff are busy getting ready for tomorrows many events.
As usual we have Pokémon kids club opening out in the morning but tomorrow we also have the kids prerelease for Pokémon's new set Chaos Rising. For this event, participants will be given a pre-release kit and 30 minutes to build a deck before the battle it out for 3 rounds of games and fun. This event will be £30 with additional packs given out at the end. Registrations will start at 10am and end 11am when the event will start and ask that all those wishing to participate have their pokemon.play ID number ready

Moving on to later on in the day we have a second Chaos Rising prerelease at 2pm but this one will be for all ages. Same price, same structure as the kids one just with out the age restriction meaning anyone can play.

Also at 2pm we have the first of our Yugioh Blazing Dominion Premiere events. This will be a 20 pound event where you get 5 packs of Blazing Dominion to build a deck and duel it out for the chance to win the all new premiere matt. There will also be another of this event at 6pm on the evening.

In amongst all this we have our dragon ball locals and casual one piece event so there is always something to come on down and do.

Today in store we have 2 amazing new releases!!!!

First of we have Lorcana`s 12th set, Wilds Unknown. this new set finally bringing the start of the Pixar characters into the fold of the Lorcana Universe, Toy Story and The Incredibles. The introduction of Pixar films too Lorcana opens up so many new avenues and cool concepts that could help you take your game TOO INFINITY... AND BEYOND!!!!!!

Secondly we have Riftbound`s 3rd set, Unleashed, this set focuses on Jungle-themed champions (Master Yi, Diana, Vi, Pyke) and introduces mechanics based on patience and hidden power, this set also bring some new mechanics so get yourself involved and explore the rift.

Both releases have packs, boxes, decks and loads more product to explore so get yourself down to grab yours today. (available while stocks last).
