📢 Exciting News! 📢

We’re delighted to share that our Pet Shop Licence inspection has been scheduled for 16th June!

As many of you know, obtaining this licence has been a long and sometimes challenging process, and we’re looking forward to finally reaching the finish line. To ensure everything runs smoothly on inspection day, we will be closed all day on 16th June.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you for your patience, understanding, and support over the last six weeks while we’ve been preparing for this important milestone. Your encouragement has meant so much to us.

A special thank you goes to everyone who has marine fish reserved with us (and there are quite a few of you!). We know the wait has been longer than expected, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. Your patience and loyalty have truly been appreciated.

Keep your eyes peeled for an update after the inspection day. We’re feeling confident and hopeful for a positive outcome, and we can’t wait to share the news with you all. Once approved, we’ll also announce when livestock sales can officially begin!

🐠 Our First Tropical Livestock Delivery Has Arrived! 🐠

We’re excited to share that our first tropical livestock delivery has officially landed, and we couldn’t be happier with the quality of the fish that have arrived! 🌿✨

From stunning Angelfish and Bettas to vibrant Neon Tetras, Corydoras, Rasboras, and more, this delivery marks a huge step forward for us as we continue expanding our aquatic range.

Over the next two weeks, we’ll be scaling up our tropical livestock deliveries, bringing in a wider selection of healthy, high-quality fish and preparing our systems, quarantine procedures, and displays ready for launch.

While we’re still waiting for the final approval of our licence to sell tropical livestock, we’re using this time to ensure everything is set up to the highest standard so that once we receive the green light, we’ll be ready to offer an amazing range of tropical fish to our customers. 🐟🌱

Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. We can’t wait to show you what’s coming next and officially open our tropical fish section very soon!

🌟 TOMORROW IS OUR FIRST LATE NIGHT! 🌟

As many of you know, we recently ran a poll asking which day you’d like us to stay open later each week — and Thursday came out on top! 🎉

So, we’re excited to announce that tomorrow we’ll be trialling our very first late night opening, with extended hours from 1pm - 8pm. 🕗

Whether you’ve been meaning to pop in after work, couldn’t make it during our usual hours, or just fancy a visit later in the day, we’d love to see you!

This is something we’ve wanted to try since we opened, and we’re keeping everything crossed that it’s a huge success. 🤞

After months of planning, measuring, and construction, Ethan and Jack have finally reached the most important stage of the project…

Well, that’s it — we’re complete! 🎉

The pond systems have arrived and are now fully installed. Tomorrow’s job is to get them filled up and connect the filters, and then we’ll be one step closer to seeing everything come to life.

We have to admit, it’s a pretty strange feeling watching months of planning, preparation, and hard work finally come together. What started as an idea on paper is now right in front of us, and we couldn’t be more excited for the next stage.

Like many new shops, we’ve been keeping a close eye on our opening times and adjusting things to suit you better. We’re now pleased to say we’ve settled on our regular opening hours, including one late night each week on Thursday!

Our new opening hours are:

Monday: 10am - 5pm
Tuesday: 10am - 5pm
Wednesday: 10am - 5pm
Thursday: 1pm - 8pm
Friday: 10am - 5pm
Saturday: 10am - 5pm
Sunday: 10am - 4pm

We’re excited to share that we now have a huge selection of aquarium plants available, including both potted and bunched varieties, ready to take home today!

We’d like to say a big thank you for your patience while we’ve been working hard behind the scenes to build and expand our tropical section. While the fish haven’t arrived just yet, we are definitely not short on plants! 🪴🐠

It’s Ethan’s 24th birthday today and one of our incredibly kind customers surprised us with the most amazing purple tang themed cake! 🐠🎂

Honestly, we’re completely blown away by the thought and kindness. Moments like this mean so much to us and remind us how lucky we are to have such wonderful customers supporting us.
