Harleston's Future Harleston's Future was set up by local residents and businesses to ensure the continued prosperity and well-being of Harleston on the Norfolk/Suffolk border.

Events and community initiatives add vitality to the town and attract more visitors. Harleston's Future was established by Harleston & District Business Forum in 2013 to help the town respond to change and draw in visitors to support the local shops and businesses. We believe that Harleston, with its plethora of historic buildings and architecture, delightful range of independent shops, cafe's, pu

Add anachronistic music and bizarre set designs and costume choices and you’re about as far from Laurence Olivier and Merle Oberon as you could get.

Certificate 15, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

For those with compatible hearing aids, a hearing loop has now been installed.

We're thrilled to announce that the RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be joining us at the Harleston and Waveney Festival on Monday 31 August! ✈️

Many of you enjoyed watching the flypast in previous years and we're delighted to welcome it back.

Please note that the Flight is subject to aircraft serviceability and weather conditions. We don't know which aircraft will take part or the time until much nearer the day. We'll be sure to share more details when we can!

Who's heading to the Rec tomorrow for the Summer Beach Party? 🌴☀️ It looks like so much fun!

🏖️ We're so excited to announce even more fantastic additions to this year's Harleston Summer Beach Party on 1st August! ☀️🎉

Get ready to ride the waves at this year’s event on our awesome surf simulator! 🏄 and meet a magical mermaid princess! 🧜‍♀️or have you got the muscle in our strongest person competition hosted by 💪

Alongside the mini sand pits and deck chairs, you'll also be able to enjoy:
