Will we see you this Saturday? 🌍

Our next global Mixed Girl Meetup is happening on May 30th — and if you’ve been before, you already know the feeling…

that moment where you realise:

you don’t have to explain yourself here

this isn’t just another “event”
it’s a space where mixed women come together and finally feel understood

what you can expect:
– real conversations (not surface level)
– women who genuinely get it
– a safe, guided space to share (only if you want to)
– that instant relief of not feeling alone anymore

we’ve had women join from all over the world — and every time, it’s something special 🤍

If you want to come, comment MIXED
and we’ll send you the link ✨

When this conversation resurfaced, a lot of people were quick to form an opinion

about what was said
what wasn’t said
and who someone “must be” because of it

but moments like this are actually deeper than they seem

because as mixed women, we’re often placed in a very specific box

people assume:
– what we think
– what we benefit from
– what we should or shouldn’t say

and sometimes… even when you do speak up
even when you try to do the right thing

people STILL misunderstand you

and that can feel frustrating

but the truth is — people will always have opinions

and part of growth is learning
not to shrink yourself because of them

not to stay silent just to be accepted

and not to abandon your values to make others comfortable

this is exactly why spaces like ours matter

where you don’t have to explain yourself

and people actually get it

we’re talking about these exact experiences
in our next global Mixed Girl Meetup 🌍 (May 30th)

if this resonates, comment MIXED
and we’ll send you the link 🤍

If you grew up mixed in Europe… this might feel familiar 🤍

for a lot of us, the feeling of being “different” didn’t start at home

it started at school

in classrooms where questions were asked in front of everyone
where people tried to “figure us out”
where we became aware of ourselves in ways we didn’t have the words for yet

and in small moments that stayed with us longer than we realised

This is something so many mixed women carry
quietly

but you’re not the only one who experienced it

and you’re definitely not alone in how it shaped you

This is exactly why Mixed Girl Meetup exists
to create spaces where mixed women can connect, share their experiences, and feel understood without having to explain themselves

if this resonates with you…
Comment MIXED and we’ll send you the details ❤️

These are just a few words from women who joined our recent global Mixed Girl Meetups 🤍

Women from different countries, different backgrounds, different ages…
coming into one space and realising

They don’t have to explain themselves here

That they’re not “too much”
or “not enough”
or have to leave out parts of themselves to be liked

But actually… deeply understood

A lot of women join feeling nervous
unsure if they’ll speak
unsure what to expect

And leave feeling seen, held, and connected in a way they haven’t experienced before

This space exists for that exact reason đź’›

You don’t have to figure it out alone

Our next free worldwide mixed girl meetup is happening soon 🌍

Comment MIXED and we’ll send you the details ✨

To be a mixed race mother
often means holding things your children may never have to carry

Navigating identity
answering questions
protecting them from experiences you know too well

While also trying to give them a stronger sense of belonging than you may have had growing up

This is for the mothers who are doing that every single day 🤍

The ones raising children across cultures, identities, and worlds
The ones creating safety, even when they didn’t always have it themselves

We see you
We honour you
We’re rooting for you

Tag a mixed race mother who inspires you ❤️

Not everyone talks about this part.

The part where you’ve learned to adjust yourself depending on who you’re around.
The part where you question which version of you is the “real” one.
The part where you’ve had to carry experiences that are hard to explain to people who haven’t lived them.

Affirmations aren’t just “nice words”.

They’re a way to come back to yourself.
To remind your body, your mind, and your identity that you don’t have to keep shrinking or over-explaining who you are.

This is something we’ve been practicing in our meetups for years…
and if you’ve ever been in one of those rooms, you know how powerful that moment feels.

Starting this week, we’re creating more consistency around it. .

Every Monday
15 minutes
A space to ground yourself, reconnect, and move into your week feeling more anchored, clear, and confident in who you are

This happens inside our private space, away from social media,
where the conversations go deeper and the connection continues beyond just one moment.

If this resonates with you, comment “mixed” and I’ll send you the details 💛

We don’t talk enough about what dating can feel like as a mixed woman… 💛

Being desired… but not truly seen
Being called “exotic” instead of understood
People being curious about you, but not actually wanting to know you

And after a while, it leaves you questioning things…
Like why something always feels slightly off
Or why it’s so hard to feel fully met for who you are

If you’ve ever felt like that…

You’re not the only one.

This is exactly why I created this space.

A private community for mixed women where we can actually talk about these things openly — beyond surface level.

💬 Next week: we’re going live on dating & navigating stereotypes

A space to unpack this, share, and feel understood in it.

And these conversations don’t just happen once…

We have weekly live sessions where we talk about real experiences, relationships, identity, and everything that comes with it — in a way that actually goes deeper.

And beyond that, inside the space:

💛 You can send me a voice note when you need support — and I’ll respond to you personally
đź’› Ongoing conversations with women who get it
đź’› Weekly 15-minute affirmation & motivation sessions every Monday

Because this isn’t just about one conversation…

It’s about having a space where you don’t have to carry this alone.

If this resonates with you, comment MIXED and we’ll send you the details to join💛

We just opened a private space for mixed women đź’›

And some of the girls from our last meetup have already joined…

Which means a lot, because they’ve actually experienced what this feels like in real life.

If you’ve ever been to one of our meetups, you’ll know:

There’s a moment where something shifts.

You stop explaining yourself.
You feel understood.
You realise you’re not the only one who feels this way.

But one evening is never enough.

And I can’t be in every city.

So I created a space where that feeling continues.

A private community for mixed women.

Where:
– conversations don’t end
– connection goes deeper than surface level
– and you don’t have to explain yourself

And something that makes this really personal…

You can send me a voice note when you need support
and I’ll respond to you personally

Because sometimes you don’t need another post…

You just need to be heard.

If this resonates, comment MIXED and I’ll send you the details 💛

How often are mixed people made to feel like they’re “not enough” — even in spaces they’re part of?

What Kimiko Glenn shares isn’t rare
it’s something many of us experience in different ways

being in-between
being questioned
being reduced to something that’s easier for others to understand

But change doesn’t happen by shrinking ourselves to fit those expectations
it happens when people start challenging them

And that’s how the narrative slowly begins to shift 💌

If you’ve ever felt like you didn’t fully belong or had to explain parts of who you are — you’re not alone in that

We talk about this (and so much more) inside our meetups and private space

Comment MIXED and I’ll send you the details 💌
