Opening for its fourth year on 27th Nov ‘25, our Christmas Barn will be packed to its twinkly, fairy-light bedecked rafters with Christmas gifts, wreaths, decorations and our grown-on-the-farm Nordmann Fir Christmas trees. We’ve always loved our winged visitors here at Maplestead Farm; we’ve been feeding them for generations and they inspired us to set up Mapleseeds, our selection of high-quality
bird food, all grown, mixed and sold from our Essex farm. Our high-quality bird food mixes are created to nourish and support our British wild birds, to help native species thrive and grow, encourage new species and provide a seasonal boost when food is scarce. We know how important it is to support our wild birds with the right nutrition and because of this, alongside our straight seeds, we take great care in blending and preparing our bird food mixes. We grow ingredients here on the farm wherever possible and supplement with seeds, grains, fruits and nuts from carefully selected providers, ensuring only the very best quality. We have also been cultivating Nordmann Fir Christmas Trees since 2013. We are looking forward to our first harvest this December!
