Some prom suit alterations over the last week. Shortened sleeves, had to reduce the number of buttons remove button hole stitching and resew remaining buttons, still left a vent, mitered hand sewn cuffs, sleeve lining opened to sew the lining and outer together seamlessly. Waistcoat taken in on both sides, closed with invisible seam after finding it had been glued together.
Who knew they use glue? Was a surprise for me.
Next week I have some new embroidery to complete for a local client.

It's a long weekend for Easter so some home sewing is in order. 1st item of the weekend. The Driftwood Dolman by Waves and Wild in a length somewhere between full and cropped in a viral fabric. I purchased mine from Knighton Fabrics Community
