Floors mopped and doors locked for the last time 🥹
Thank you everyone for making the last 5 years such an incredible journey. My dream to change my own and other people’s shopping habits became a reality but has now reached its natural conclusion. 5 years to the day that I picked up the keys to the first TurtleBee shop, I posted them back to the landlord.
I’ll keep this page going and continue to share eco friendly living tips. Who knows, maybe I’ll return to TurtleBee one day and combine my passions for the environment and education…? For now, I’ll be focusing on my family and teaching and will continue my journey on the other side of the counter as a customer.
The shop will reopen this Wednesday as and run with TurtleBee’s remaining stock and opening times throughout August leading up to an exciting full launch in September. I can’t wait to see what Vicky has in store and know that she already has an army of supporters! I am, of course, thrilled that Leah and Charlotte will continue to be employed at the shop.
I will of course continue to support Connor over at TurtleBee at Huntley’s where the name, branding and ethos continue to thrive. Well done Connor!
Please keep in touch. The hardest thing this week hasn’t been clearing out the shop, it’s been saying goodbye to the friends I’ve made over the years. You are all warriors and always a part of the TurtleBee story.
One last thank you to Mr TurtleBee, my children and Mum who have been a great support this week both emotionally and physically.
