Looks like it’ll be a fine weekend for book browsing at Gourdon Harbour, Aberdeenshire. The Maggie Law Maritime Museum will be open , the Harbour Bar, Gourdon will be serving , the Quayside Gourdon will be frying… and the Gourdon Goodies fudge and tablet will be sweet to eat.

A heat ripple rather than a heat wave. But still a good excuse for a stop ( at Sillyflatt Fare, Fields and Gatherings ) on the dog walk with one of my favourite authors. If you like urban fantasy, I recommend the Rivers of London series.
