ππ² One Year at Coates Road! π²π
It's hard to believe, but today marks one year since we took over the studio at Coates Road and began the first chapter of Diceheads.
What started as an empty space and a big idea has grown into something we're incredibly proud of. Over the last 12 months, we've worked hard to create more than just a shopβwe've built a place where people can meet, play, learn, and enjoy the hobbies they love.
In just one year we've:
π² Built a library of 300+ board games for everyone to enjoy.
βοΈ Expanded our retail range with Warhammer, Warlord Games, Rubicon Models, paints, hobby supplies, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Dungeons & Dragons, RPG accessories, and much more.
π¨ Started regular hobby nights and painting sessions.
π Grown thriving Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh! communities.
π Hosted Blood on the Clocktower, Board Game Sundae, learn-to-play events, leagues, tournaments, and countless casual gaming sessions.
π€ Welcomed hundreds of new faces through our doors and watched friendships form across the gaming tables.
β Created a relaxed cafΓ© where people can spend hours enjoying great games, coffee, and good company.
π― Junior Volts League darts venue, with casual darts available for everyone
Most importantly, we've built an amazing community.
None of this would have been possible without you.
To everyone who has visited, bought a game, painted a miniature, played in an event, had a coffee, recommended us to a friend, shared one of our posts, or simply cheered us on from afarβthank you.
Your support has helped turn Diceheads into the community hub we always hoped it could be, and we're genuinely grateful for every single one of you.
We're incredibly excited about what the next year has in store. There are more events, more games, more tournaments, more stock, and plenty more ideas still to come.
Here's to another fantastic year of rolling dice, making memories, and growing this amazing community together.
From the bottom of our heartsβ¦ thank you for making Diceheads what it is today. π π²
