As you may be aware, we are experiencing some challenges with our deliveries.
This is due to some significant technical issues with our warehouse management systems, paired with an abnormally high volume of orders we are fulfilling in time for Christmas.
A combination of these two factors means that we have been forced to resort to manually picking items from the largest sofa storage distribution centre in the UK.
We have massively increased resource in order to achieve this and whilst we are clear that every delivery is present and available we have found that picking times have extended beyond our worst-case scenario.
The net result of this is that in optimistically expecting to dispatch goods on the agreed day, in some cases a little late, we have found that this has not always been possible.
This has resulted in an inability to communicate accurate and reliable information, which we realise has, in many cases, compounded the experiential impact.
We anticipate catching up and correcting the majority of this issue by close of business on Friday night, leaving only a small number of customer deliveries affected between now and then.
If your delivery is booked for the next few days or has been missed in the last few days, it is our aim to contact you only with quality information, and hopefully an anticipated time of arrival rather than just with a simple update.
Unless we contact you to say otherwise, please expect your delivery on the day it was booked, though we ask you to bear with us on exact delivery time slots.
We sincerely apologise to all customers affected and want to assure you that we are committed to delivering all outstanding orders in time for Christmas.
