My Story

My name is Kate, I’m 38 years old almost 39 (1 and a bit yrs to the big 40 arrgghhh).

A lot has happened since I last updated this.

I have been married for almost 5 years now to my soul mate Stephen and we now have a beautiful baby boy Charlie who was born through IVF, 4 weeks 1 day premature on the 27th March 2019. He has completed our little family, Mummy, Daddy, Charlie and Theo (the dog) and makes every day a happy day.

I registered KTS Candy in January 2018. KTS stands for Kate (me) Theo (my dog) and Stephen (my husband). My sister had also pointed out that KTS also sounds like KaTeS. Now since having Charlie we have realised that the C for Candy stands for Charlie so my whole family is within my business name which I LOVE!!!

Like most businesses I started off very slowly but managed to get my first order on the 15th January’18. I use Facebook as my way of advertising my business and promoting my products (very difficult to do) Its been a little difficult lately to keep posting on my page because of having Charlie but he is now getting into a routine which is giving me time to do things including some cleaning and pottering around the house.

I have had some great feedback from my customers. Sadly a lot of my recent customers have not left me feedback but as some have been returning customers I can only assume that they are happy with my services. I am the holder of 5 stars for my service and products. Some of the older feedback includes:

I recently provided a vegetarian sweet cone but am not in a position as yet to be able to offer any products solely for vegans or gluten free item.

All my products may contain nuts unless specified.

My goal when I started was to be fully established and to be able to offer different products by the end of my first year. I do have many products available but my best seller is my sweet cones. I have recently increased my cone prices as alot of people were commenting that my £1.00 cones were very generous so although I may not be as cheap as some sweet suppliers I do provide good value for money. I also include FREE personalisation on ALL orders.
