MIJU Wools Miju Wools opened its doors on 19th February 2011 selling Knitting and Crochet Yarns, along with notions, haberdashery and gifts. Contact shop for details.

Supplying Stylecraft, Sirdar, King Cole, Opal, James c Brett, Cygnet ,West Yorkshire Spinners, Rico, locally produced and hand dyed yarns.We also have notions ,bags, haberdashery and gifts. Knit and Natter takes place wed to sat 10-30-12.30 and 1.30-3.30 We also run crochet lessons and sock knitting courses. We are open to requests from our customers to order non stocked yarns and are more than happy to take the time and resolve any queries they may have.

A short-sleeved cardigan is such a useful layering piece for summer outfits, and this open design will work beautifully over dresses, blouses and lightweight tops. Created for us by Kate Heppell, the ‘Violaine’ cardigan features an all-over lace pattern worked in an aran-weight yarn to give an interesting fabric. Kate’s design is the star of our special supplement in Issue 229.
