The keys have now been handed back and the shop is empty.
Am having a bit of a breather before popping up at various events with stock for sale.

Lots of people have been asking where Wains started off. On 59 High Street West. Moved to Arundel Street in 1985.

Have lots of display stands up for grabs...counter stands, floor standing spinners. Do not want to go to landfill!!
Call to all fellow retailers, free with a donation to local charities.

As we are now into our last week before closing the shop doors on Saturday I would just like to give a few thanks (please bear with me!)
❤ To Marj and Ian Bradley (Jo Barker) for taking me on as a youngster and having faith in me to carry on their success.
❤ To all the sales reps and agents who have given me support and become good friends. Especially Alan who I share my life with, thanks for your love and support.
❤ To all my amazing staff who have been by my side throughout, some becoming more like family...some even were!
❤ Lastly but by no means least to my wonderful customers. My gratitude for your overwhelming support and friendship. We have laughed, cried and ranted together and without you there wouldn't have been a business.

The business will carry on in a much smaller scale for some time, after a short break to sort out stock, fixtures and logistics.

Retirement is the plan but this will not happen just yet. ❤
