Afternoon all, Time for a shop update and news
Well the weather is said to be getting hotter this next fortnight, Sadly in the shop means for me will be even more uncomfortable as it was nearly 34 degrees in back of shop on Saturday, and no means to get a through draft to cool things down.
We are very nearly ready to bring some more yummy English green fluorite in to the shop that I have been cleaning this past couple of months and they look amazing, also more of our popular specimens of Azurite with Malachite from Morocco. and many other stunning specimens. There is more that is very nearly ready to show you all, just need to take their photos and all will be revealed here, we have a selection of silver pendants set with Carved gemstone hares, Also a few new hare carvings some out of our Local Mendip potato stone, a few sunstone hares carved from oligoclase feldspar from Bamble, Telemark county, Norway, a Cornish Turquoise Hare from the old Gunheath China clay pits that was collected last century and a few others as well. Then there some very unique and not done before from our local Mendip Potatostone bead necklaces there are 6 of these and lastly some very rare spheres, again worked from our local Mendip Potatostone, once all photos are done will then be showing all on here and in the shop,.
Advance news we will be closing for our first post Summer holiday from Monday 7th to 14th of September then dates for our last holiday of the year from close of trade on Wednesday 7th till the 19th of October this co insides with the famous Bakewell mineral show in Bakewell Derbyshire that I have been attending for nearly 40 years these days as a visitor not dealing
