All about Arran Whisky this week. Lochranza magnets and coasters heading to Scotland in miniature tomorrow followed by prints and tea towels.

Originally known as Arran before they opened Lagg on the south of the Island. Now Locharanza after the village it sits in. It’s one of the “older new ones."

They had to halt construction of the site due to a couple of golden eagles taking up residency on a nearby cliff.
The birds have since made it onto the logo.

"British Isles Word Map"

When I first designed this in 2009 it sold pretty well. It doesn't anymore.

British Isles - An ancient and now purely geographical name may have something to do with it. It jars with me so I can only imagine how it sounds to someone from Ireland.

Took a ride out to hand deliver bespoke prints to Glengoyne distillery earlier.

I should have gone yesterday as it was gie windy and freezing today. My cross country West Highland Way route didn't quite suit my gravel bike and, oh! I got a puncture!!

Anyway it's always worth it as everyone and their granny at Glengoyne are as friendly as it gets. I've been selling prints here and did their tour guide illus years before any of the others even knew about me so they always have a spot in my heart.
