We are just back from a very relaxing family holiday in Scotland, staying in the beautiful grounds of Culzean Castle on the Ayrshire coast. We feel very lucky to have been able to stay in the clocktower on the right of the pic … right next to the castle. We had free reign of the country park when it closed to the public in the evening, sitting with the swifts and house martins swooping overhead watching the sun set over Arran. A very special place 😍 More boring holiday pics to follow!

It’s not that I ‘needed’ another plant, but you know how it is 😁 I picked up this beautiful Strelitzia Nicolai 😍😍 from today, fantastic quality plant as always. This is a white bird of paradise/wild banana and is already quite large so I’m not sure where it’s going yet, it might have to live on the loft stairs for a while!

Here again… this weekend is Crafts In The Pen at Skipton Auction Mart. Everyone gets an empty cattle pen to do with what they will. There are over 200 exhibitors, is in Pen 57 on 2nd street.
