Finished and hanging nicely, would look great in someone's bar or mancave / shed Bar.

Made a small sign tonight out of a slice of Yew called "Sappers' Rest".

A small quote explaining encouraging us all to always listen to a friend in need or wanting to have a chat, even if its 0200hrs in the morning.

LADY BUG....Someone suggested I make a Lady Bug coaster to go with the Sheep & Turtles. So I tried and this is the result.

Body made of Sapele and wooly part made of Poplar, plus black resin eyes and spots. Body stained to match insect colours.

UPDATE on the Poppy Coaster.

Amazing final result and 5 more ready for Resin.

We've also decided to make a Purple Poppy Coaster to represent Service Animals lost in war.

We sanded the top back to clear any floors, repainted the poppy and then used resin to seal the pattern and give a hard-wearing surface for when in use.

As always, 10% of every sale goes to Combat Stress.

MASSIVE day next week. We will be at the March Armed Forces Fair (MAFF) on Sunday 23 Aug 2026.

Starts at 1100hrs to 1700hrs.

Over 20'000 are expected to visit. I have attached some of the Fair adverts as an idea of whats happening.

2 new chopping Boards going with Carol to the Aldington & Bonnington Summer Fete & Craft Fayre tomorrow.

Boards are very big approx 45cm x 25cm and 3cm thick, lifting grips and rubber feet fitted.

Both treated with 50:50 Beeswax and Food safe mineral oil.

Board 1: Made with a solid piece of Ash with Purple Heart stripes.

Board 2: Made with a solid piece of Oak with Saligna stripes.
