Announcement to our customers

Gill and myself have decided to lease the shop and forecourt, this will mean it will be under new management and fuel and shop services will resume from this week.
We would like to thank all our staff (who will still be here serving you) for your support
And thank you to you our customers, it is going to be a big change for us and we hope we have done our best to provide the best service we could over the last 50 years.
We have had our ups and downs but will still be around to say hello.
The post office will continue to run the same - look out for our new page.

Forecourt update
Everything is progressing for the forecourt to reopen
Unfortunately there has been a delay as there is work needed to be done before it can open
This will hopefully start in the next few weeks

Newspaper situation
We will hopefully soon have deliveries in - we have had considerable problems with smith’s news regarding missing credits, charges etc which I am still 6 weeks later trying to resolve with them.

Stock
Because of the work that needs to be done we do not yet know if we will have to close for any amount of time whilst the works commence so we are trying to keep our stock at a minimum until again we can be up and running.

Lottery
Lottery is up and running this was a technical problem due to communication problems.

Paypoint
Again we have a technical problem which we hope to be resolved soon

The shop and the post office continue to be open daily
Please can you be respectful to us all - we are trying to keep the shop open for the community
