Heres a recent custom; a christening gown made from the baby's mother's wedding gown. How beautiful to transform this fabric from one life event to another. Hopefully this little gown will be passed from sibling to cousin to child to grandchild for many to come.

We were so excited to announcethe details of our 2025 annual handmade quilt sale!!!
As our old shop is now a pilates studio (yeaaay so exciting) we've been searching for the perfect new venue....

I can now say that sweet Tanya has offered us Honeysuckle Wood at the Griffin!!!!

So not only will we be offering you:
Wendy's handmade quilts and Christmas decorations
Subversive Threads jackets and coats made from reclaimed damaged quilts
Olijoly hand embroidered decor

But we will also have Tanya's sustainably and ethically made home products, crockery, and decor.

Maybe we'll even set up a rail of vintage clothes??

Anyway we're really excited and hope to see all our favourite clients at the Griffin on 22nd November!

EDIT - sadly we are going to have to cancel our last pop up of the year. The space has been rented to someone else so without an alternative plan we have to cancel.

You will be able to find some of our works in Frome this Sunday for the Independent Market though!

Sorry for letting you all down and hopefully see you in Spring 2025!

In just under 3 weeks we'll be popping up in our old shop in Monmouth again! We can't wait to see you all again and show you what we've been making. We'll have quilts, original art, scupltures, Christmas cards, vintage coats, embroidered Christmas decorations... and all handmade!

Our quilt sale is happening in just 6 days on Sunday 22nd September from 10:00 until whenever we sell out! We're super excited about it and can't wait for you to get your hands on Wendy's hand made quilts!

Its been around 2 years since our last quilt sale and Wendy has been very very busy making more for you. Every quilt she makes is 100% cotton, machine washable, and sewn to last. They're the perfect herilooms to gift and we even have a few Christmas themed ones!

We have some super exciting news ... Wendy has been busy sewing sewing sewing and we will be returning to the high street to give you a chance to nab one of her quilts!

The last quilt sale we held for Wendy's incredible work was amazing! You guys loved her intricate and colourful work. So many of you bought your quilts specially to gift at Christmas or for children/grandchildren moving out for the first time. They really do make the perfect heriloom gift to treasure forever. Especially as they're 100% cotton and machine washable.

Well that was two years ago and since then Wendy has been working hard on new quilts for you. Along with her gorgeous traditional double quilts, this year we'll also have lots of special childrens quilts and Christmas themed ones too!
