A fantastic new outdoor fitness space has been created by Fresh Air Fitness at Oaklands School in Cheshire.

We recently installed our Big Rig for the school's secondary SEND pupils, completing the project during term time while working closely with the school to ensure minimal disruption.

Appropriate safety measures were in place throughout the installation, allowing lessons and daily activities to continue on schedule.

We're proud to have created another outdoor space that will encourage pupils to stay active, build confidence and enjoy the benefits of outdoor exercise.

Prospect School supports children with social, emotional and behavioural challenges.

The school places strong emphasis on offering a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities to enrich the time students spend in education. These activities play an important role in supporting wellbeing, confidence and social interaction.

To expand these opportunities further, Prospect School wanted to introduce outdoor fitness equipment that would encourage regular physical activity while also supporting students who benefit from movement and time outdoors.

Fresh Air Fitness, as the UK’s leading outdoor gym specialist, was chosen to help scope, design and install an exciting new outdoor gym for use during PE lessons, breaktimes and after school clubs.

We were delighted to deliver a fantastic new outdoor gym for Guilden Morden Parish Council in Royston, featuring our Bumper Package plus Hip Twister, safety mulch surfacing, and full groundworks.

The 8-piece gym accommodates up to 15 users, giving the local community a great place to get active together.
