🏌️‍♀️ WOMEN OF ABERDEENSHIRE... THIS COULD BE YOUR SIGN TO TRY GOLF! 💗

Two brand new beginner golf groups for women start at Dunes later this month, and we still have a handful of spaces available.

📅 Wednesday 26 August at 6.15pm
📅 Thursday 27 August at 6.15pm

These classes are designed for women with little or no golfing experience.

You do NOT need:
✅ Your own clubs
✅ To know the rules
✅ To be sporty
✅ To know anyone else coming
✅ To have ever hit a golf ball before

You just need to be willing to give it a go.

More than 900 women from across Aberdeenshire have discovered golf through Dunes since 2016, and many of them started feeling exactly the same way you might be feeling now.

The six-week Project includes 9 hours of coaching, all clubs and range balls, plus £20 driving range credit to help you practise between sessions.

Most importantly, it is relaxed, social and designed to make learning golf FUN. 😊

These junior clubs have had SOME summer… 😳⛳

With the school holidays finishing this weekend, we’ve been looking back at just how much junior and family golf has taken place at Dunes over the last few weeks.

We’ve run lots of junior camps, welcomed loads of families onto the range and, through our free family Toptracer offer, given local families the chance to come along and try golf completely for free without having to buy any equipment first.

We’ve tracked the numbers and, so far, more than 20,000 free range balls have been claimed through that offer alone 🤯

Which probably helps explain why some of our free junior clubs are now looking a little… tired. 😂

We’ve always believed children should be able to try golf before Mum and Dad have to spend money buying them a set of clubs, so we keep different sizes here for youngsters to use completely free of charge.

These ones have certainly done their job.

But it’s time for an upgrade…

We’ve got a whole load of new junior equipment on the way and, rather than just showing you the finished result, I thought I’d take you behind the scenes as we replace the old clubs and get everything ready for the next generation of young golfers.

There’s another part to this story too because one of the reasons I’m excited about growing Dunes Competitions is that it gives me another way to invest back into Dunes and projects like this.

🏌️‍♀️ Women who have never played golf before, this is for you! 💛

Have you ever thought about trying golf but worried that you would not know what to do, would not have the right equipment, or might feel out of place?

That is exactly why we created our love.golf Taster Sessions at Dunes Golf Centre.

They are relaxed, friendly and designed especially for women who are completely new to golf. You do not need to know the rules, own any clubs or be particularly sporty. We provide all the equipment and guide you through everything step by step.

You can come on your own or bring a friend. Everyone will be there to learn, have a laugh and enjoy trying something new together 😊

And once we have finished playing, there will be coffee and cake too ☕🍰
