With World Cup excitement building, I am pleased to support a great initiative from Royal Mail encouraging children and young people (aged 4–18) to send messages of support to the England World Cup squad.
It’s a simple, meaningful way for young people to get behind our team.
Letters can be sent, free of charge, to the 2026 England World Cup Squad by writing to World Class Letters, Freepost England.
As part of the campaign, letters submitted from now, until 19 July, will be entered into a prize draw, with winning entries securing £1,500 to spend on sports kit for a nominated school or sports club.
Letters should be submitted by a parent, guardian or teacher on behalf of the child or young adult, during the campaign period. Entrants should supply a return address or contact details to be automatically entered into the Prize Draw. Full details, including how to enter and the terms and conditions, are available on www.royalmail.com.
I would encourage every young person in Chesterfield to take part and support the team to ensure that football comes home again this Summer!
