So today the plan was to close the doors to Forres Tackle Shop for the last time and start my retirement.
However to help facilitate the return of permits I have decided to remain open part time until the 14th of Oct.
Opening hours will be from 13.00hrs until 17.00hrs. If the doors are closed permits can be thrown into the porch thru the gap above the doors.

We would also take this opportunity to thank all those that have used and supported us over the years and wish you all tight lines for the future.

Due to my wife testing positive I am not able to man the shop.
Mick will be in from 07.00 to 10.00 hrs Monday to Saturday which will allow for anyone wanting permits, alternatively a limited number are available on Fishpal.

Despite my intention to retire due to the unfortunate closure of Sue’s News I have agreed to keep the shop open until the end of season to enable visiting anglers to collect fishing permits.
At the same time my closing down sale will continue offering huge discounts on anything left in stock including all shop fittings and fixtures come and grab a bargain or plan early for Christmas and Birthdays😁

As of Wednesday 16 February Forres Tackle ship will be having a closing down sale with discounts of upto 50%.
Everything must go including stock and fittings.

So after months of being closed due to lockdowns and flood damage I am glad to say that Forres Tackle Shop will be open and back trading from tomorrow.
As it’s October it will be winter hours as usual which are Wednesday to Saturday 10.00 til 17.00 hrs.
Come and grab a re-opening bargain!!!

Just a quick note to say that the shop sustained quite a bit of damage over the weekend thanks to a burst watermain in the flat above.
Hopefully by the time the current trading curfew is lifted I may be in a position to re-open, if not I will let everyone know when I do manage to do so.
