The Assassin Tackle shop will be shut for a week as we are off to france 🇫🇷 Saturday morning all orders in today and tomorrow morning will be processed as normal and go out as usual anything after 1pm tomorrow 19/6/26 will be done when we get back.

Back on the old sand quarry, after spawning ive been giving them big hit of boilie. 4kg specifically on a raised sand bar. The first night failed to produce as i wasnt to happy with the exact spots. I find if it goes down like concrete it's a bite, anything short of that is almost pointless. After thoroughly leading about i found the exact spot again. No more than 2ft². The left hand rod went down bang on. The right hand id found another hard spot on the edge of the overhanging trees. An hour later both rods ripped off within 5 minutes of eachother. Rewarded with 2 cheshire gems sucking the steel of a size 4 At-curve. Hookholds they could never shake off and still razor sharp after popping the hooks out.

From the recent warm spell martyn broke out the 6ft scope and his trusty warburtons.

5 minutes stalking this stunning fully from a quiet Yateley lake done the damage after a short battle it was game over for this fully.

Martyn was using the new test surface line to a size 8 AT- Hexgape

Alex aka the mercian carper slipped one over the cord.

I Caught the mirror on a firmer raised area of an old sand quarry. Size 4 at curve blowback, 20mm hard ho**er pinned down with a tungsten kicker. Camo lead clip system to blend in with the sandy gravel bottom, fished on a spread of 15 and 20mm baits. Simple old school tactics resulting in an old 28lb dark cheshire ocean strain mirror 🫡

Tyler's found a few!
Had a couple of nice commons at the local park lake. Both caught using AT wide gapes in a size 6. One was caught using a single curry wafter and the other with a match the hatch approach with DNA crayfish pellet.

Zacks attack on Todber!

Conditions looked perfect from the off with warm sunshine, light winds, and fish showing along the far margin. Decided to keep things simple and accurate by fishing solid bags tight to the opposite bank, using Assassin’s Tackle size 4 wide gape paired with little wafters.

Once the first fish slipped up, the spot really came alive. The solid bags were going down nicely, the rigs were sitting perfectly, and every bite seemed to come from tight against the far shelf. The carp were clearly on the munch in the warmer conditions and keeping the traps topped up little and often kept the action coming throughout the day.

Ended the session with 9 carp on the bank and couldn’t ask for much more from a sunny spring session. Buzzing with that one 👌🐟

I Found a nice spot just off the back island in the swim near the Channel of the 2 islands. Using a size 4 curve with a d-rig kicker had a hardho**er with a white topper on and a mix of boilie and pellets. Was expecting a bite through the night but nothing and then while having a coffee and a chat with my mate at around 8.30 the rod screamed off and after quite a battle under the rod tip I landed this beut of a 22lb mirror

Decided to head out again for a few nights after going to one lake and they was spawning and I dropped in to a different lake to grace this beautiful common over the net cord on a size 6 at curve shank and a bed of natural nut 🙏💯

Gary's hit the ground running on the New Syndicate 🎣🔥

Another quality session on the new syndicate, this time with Archie — and it turned into one to remember.

The rods absolutely ripped off in the early hours with a proper double take. Bit of chaos on the bank, both of us playing fish at the same time, but everything held up perfectly and we managed to get both fish in the net.

Best part of the session by far… Archie landing his first carp on the syndicate 👊 A proper milestone and the start of many more to come.

Big shout to Max Attract Baits — the consistency from these is unreal and they’re clearly getting noticed on this water now.
