Hello all my lovely quilting friends. I'm not sure if everyone knows yet, but my health has taken a turn for the worse. My cancer has unfortunately spread. So, I am closing Quantum Quilting until the end of the year. Keith and I are going to South Africa to spend time with my family, whilst I undergo alternative treatment, as the chemo hasn't worked. We will be in touch from time to time, to let everyone know how I'm getting on. I'm remaining positive and going into this process with peace in my heart. I just want to thank everyone who has been so kind and supportive to us over the last very difficult year, for your understanding and patience. Please will you let your groups know. We are going to still be on email, and I'm always happy to hear from you all, and help with technical questions. ❤️❤️

This was a lot of work. Took me 11 days to quilt. Lots of echo quilting, stitch in the ditch, pattern cropping etc. Love the pattern in the blue outside squares, which were sea shells. Turned out really nicely.

Loved doing this quilt. Used a simple feather pattern and turquoise thread. Gorgeous!

I used variegated yellow thread on this quilt, and did large block work in the middle, with 2 borders, of leaves and then rope on the outside patterned border. Finished by attaching the binding ready for hand finishing on the back.
