For those of you who saw me over the weekend, you'll know I made some time to get out fishing on Sunday after work... Well here is the report 😊

Me and Brodster shared a lovely session on Sunday after work, I decided to close the shop a little early so we could get out in time for the tide

Armed with an array of our Devon Baits Med sandeel & Launce, the target species was ray, turbot and gurnard... Oddly enough, we caught ray, turboo and gurnard 😎

Using Sakuma Manta extras in 1.0s & 2.0s, our go to hooks for open coast fishing on the rays and mixed bits, we caught around 9 small eyed ray within a 4 hour period, 7 turbot, 1 gurnard and Brodie was pleasantly surprised by a beautiful lobster on his last chuck 🐟🦞

The best bit about the gurnard, Brodie brought it in on the same rig as a lovely ray around the 3/4lb mark, an awesome double hook up!

I took an absolute soaking after losing what I assumed was another small ray 😂 but never mind, I quickly dried off in the evening sun.

Oh.... and Andy was there too, but rather than add to the fish tally he decided to just let us catch them all... Cheers mate, you will have to get one yourself next time! 😉
