One of the questions we’ve been asked most over the last couple of months is, “When does the new shop open?”
People are always expecting us to say “three or four weeks,” so the look on their faces when we tell them it’s going to take 4–6 months is priceless.
The truth is, we don’t just put up a few shelves and call it a day.
Every single corner of our shops is designed with purpose. That’s how we built The Lonely Broomstick, and it’s exactly how we’re building this new shop. We don’t believe in creating something ordinary - we believe in creating an experience.
From hand-making thousands of bricks to custom-designing every whisky barrel, every detail is planned, built and finished by us. Aside from the specialist jobs like plumbing and electrics, we do it all ourselves because we genuinely love creating something unique.
Does it take longer? Absolutely.
But in today’s high street, doing the bare minimum isn’t enough. If you want people to remember you, you have to create something worth stepping into.
