Our weddings have officially found a home of their own! 🤍🌸

We’ve launched a brand new Instagram page dedicated entirely to our wedding florals, where we’ll be sharing all things weddings - from beautiful real celebrations and floral inspiration to behind-the-scenes glimpses, planning tips, seasonal ideas, and plenty of helpful advice along the way.

After creating wedding flowers for over 10 years, we wanted a space dedicated solely to our couples. A place full of inspiration, ideas, and everything you need to help you plan your dream wedding florals.

Short answer: no, florists don’t have a secret wizard watering can (although it does sometimes feel like it). The real magic is something called flower conditioning.

When people buy flowers, they often think the magic starts in the vase. But for florists, it starts long before that, usually with scissors, buckets, and a suspicious amount of leaf stripping.

Every stem that comes into the shop is carefully conditioned before it’s ever arranged. That means removing lower leaves, giving stems a fresh cut, using clean water and flower food (basically a spa day for stems), and allowing the flowers time to properly hydrate (think: post-flight recovery, but for roses).

It might seem like a small step, but it’s one of the biggest reasons your bouquet doesn’t give up on life after 24 hours.

Flower conditioning helps:
🌿 Maximise vase life (aka: “stay alive longer, please”)
💧 Improve water uptake - hydration is key.
🌸 Encourage blooms to open beautifully (no one likes a shy flower)
✨ Keep arrangements looking their best for days to come

It’s one of those behind-the-scenes jobs that takes time, care and experience and occasionally involves arguing with stubborn stems that refuse to behave.
