As National Volunteers week comes to a close we would like to say thanks to all the Amazing Volunteers at the Burrow Community Shop.

Whether you work in the shop, cook, do the Post office or do a behind the scenes role we couldn’t do it without you.

You are all Stars 🤩.

We always welcome new volunteers from 16-160 ! You’ll find a warm welcome, have fun and make new friends.

Congratulations Mellissa & Justin ! A Burrow first ! They met at the Burrow in Exbourne, then Justin proposed to Mellissa at the Burrow. They recently got married at Exbourne Parish Church and of course had to have a celebratory photo at the Burrow. Look forward to seeing you both again after the Honeymoon!! ❤️🥰😍🍾

The awards ceremony is in London on 2 July at the Royal Society of Chemistry.

Amazing News!

The Burrow is a National Finalist of the Going Green Award sponsored by in the and rural community business Awards 2026.

We are one of three finalists After sorting the leaking roof, adding solar panels and batteries, LED lighting and reducing our Carbon footprint. All of this could only be achieved by the amazing efforts of the whole community and you our volunteers.
