Hello 👋 I am looking for local businesses in the Evesham area, who would be willing to donate some cash for several "look for a book" hunts in the Evesham area.

I would like to do one on Charity Crescent, one on the Davis Road, one in the village of Dumbleton and one on the Thistledown Estate.

Please get in touch if you are able to help out. You would get recognition in each book you donate in the form of a book plate in the front of the book, with your business name and logo.

Hosted my first book fair yesterday for World Book Day at Honeybourne Primary Academy! Big shout out to them for their part in it. It was a little manic and a bit of a whirlwind 🤪 but I learnt a lot from it. Here's to many more 😉

I picked my niece up from school yesterday afternoon and took my box of lovely, shiny new books. I told her and my nephew that they could both choose 1 book from the box.

I think they liked them!😃😍

So, who am I?

My name is Jo, I am mum to a beautiful 20 month old boy, Golden Labrador that is! 🐕 I don't have children of my own, it just never happened for me and that's OK 🙂

I used to work for a company that was a 3rd party book seller to schools. Selling books to schools is about much more than making money. Over several years I built up some amazing relationships with teachers, receptionists and finance departments. I often think back fondly and with a big smile over the times I would get calls from them just for a natter and a giggle! I never met most of these people face to face!

When covid struck and the schools were forced to close, the business couldn't survive 😔 such a sad time in my life as I had found a job that I loved, working with a fantastic group of people and we were losing it all. We were made redundant and I was lost.

I've spent the last couple of years trying to find my way in life. I'm an Avon rep, a Viva Mk distributor and now have the opportunity to get back into working with books and schools as an independent usbourne books partner! 😃

This makes me really happy and I'm hoping that by building relationships with schools local to me, that I can be successful in bringing great offers and free 📚 to them.

I am looking to hold book fairs and other reading events in schools, aswell as attend local fetes and other events.
