A dedicated group of people are about to embark on the hiking and fundraising challenge that could make all the difference to people at The Old Moat Garden Centre, a social enterprise service built to help people living with mental ill health regain important life skills in employment and volunteering in a safe and friendly environment.

The team will be taking on the Surrey Three Peaks to raise money for the Old Moat - the hike across Surrey's Three Peaks is around 23 miles and climbs the three highest hills in Surrey: Box Hill, Holmbury Hill, and Leith Hill. Participants will complete the round walk by starting and finishing at the top of Box Hill.

Our thanks to everyone who braved the heat and joined us in The Old Moat's Walled Garden yesterday afternoon. We all enjoyed the wonderful stirring sounds of Epsom and Ewell Brass Band - a fantastic concert in the summer sunshine, amidst colourful planting!
