Hi everyone,
Firstly, I want to say how incredibly sorry I am for the unexpected closures and the lack of communication over the last few days.
On Saturday night I ended up in A&E after struggling to breathe, high fever and experiencing the most excruciating stomach pain I’ve ever felt. Thankfully I’m okay but I’ve tested positive for Influenza B (the flu). It’s completely knocked me off my feet and I’ve spent the majority of the last few days asleep trying to recover.
Meanwhile, Jamie has been doing his absolute best to be Superman by looking after our little one, myself and keeping the shop running… but in true fashion, he’s somehow managed to crack a bone in his hand! It’s definitely been one of those laugh or cry situations.
I also want to apologise to anyone who’s messaged and hasn’t had a reply. I’m doing my best to catch up but recovery is taking longer than I’d hoped and I’m still nowhere near back to myself.
Unfortunately, it’s looking unlikely that we’ll be able to reopen before Saturday, when we’ll have some help. To make matters worse, Aura has now come down with it too, when it rains - it pours for us! 😖
