We raise funds for local charities in Egham and Runnymede by selling secondhand books, music and DVDs

Our Charity Bookstall was started in Sept 2000 by one of our Church members with 42 books to help raise funds for our new Pastoral Centre. Over the years it has grown significantly and we now hold a monthly bookstall at the United Church Egham (UCE) , with well over 10,000 books on display across a wide range of categories. This includes a large Collectors Corner section where we have a wide range

of antique books, maps and artwork. We also sell CD, cassettes, LPs, singles, DVDs and sheet music. The bookstall is run by a loyal group of local volunteers and every book, LP, CD and DVD we sell has been donated by local residents. We currently raise £20,000 every year from our face to face and online sales. 90% of the bookstall proceeds go to local charities. This Sunday why don't you relax with a good book.
The UCE charity bookstall is taking a break this month but we are still working on our new online shop. We are continuing to add more content with over 250 items now for sale in a range of subjects and prices. We can also do click and collect for local customers. Thanks to all our customers and volunteers who helped make last Friday's bookstall a success. We have made donation to three local community hubs - The Lit in Egham, The Village Centre and The Hub in Englefield Green.

We were very pleased to be able to promote The Lit's upcoming Big Poetry Weekend, with a display of our many poetry books for sale.

There will be no bookstall in August, but we will be returning on 18th September. In the meantime, please check out our online shop at www.ucecharitybookstall.com

Don't forget we're back tomorrow Friday 17th July with our Charity Bookstall, and this month we will be supporting three local community hubs - At the Lit in Egham and The Hub Englefield Green and The Village Centre in Englefield Green. Please come along and browse our huge selection of fiction and non-fiction books, as well as CDs, DVDs and vinyl.

We will also have a Poetry Feature, as a prelude to the poetry weekend at the Lit the weekend of 1st and 2nd August.

At next Friday's Charity Bookstall look out for our Poetry Feature, which we are running in conjunction with our charity partner . This special feature is a prelude to the 'Big Surrey Poetry Weekend' which will be hosted by The Lit the weekend of August 1st & 2nd.

We're delighted to announce that we now have an online bookstall presence, to complement our once a month pop-up bookstall at the United Church of Egham 🎉

Thank you to all our customers who braved the heat on Friday to come to our bookstall. We are delighted to be able to make a donation to Your Sanctuary, our charity partner this month. Thank you also to our sterling volunteers, who make the bookstall possible.

And we are open! Come along and have a browse and support our charity partner Your Sanctuary, which offers sanctuary, support and empowerment to anyone affected by Domestic Abuse.

We have thousands of books for sale, both fiction and non-fiction, as well as maps, prints and other collectors' items, DVDs, CDs and vinyl.

We're back tomorrow and the weather forecast is set to be scorchio 🌞😎! A perfect day for coming and browsing our extensive range of fiction and non-fiction books, collectors' items, DVDs, CDs and vinyl, with the majority in the cool interior of the church.

This month our charity partner is Your Sanctuary. Come along and find out about the important work that they do, offering sanctuary, support and empowerment to anyone affected by Domestic Abuse.
