Heyyy folks 👋
I'm Aimee, the shop manager of Good Vibes, the cosmic wee Record Store based in the heart of Leith. The shop was opened in 2020 by design duo Mike and Fiona Bryant, and is the home to 6 creative studios upstairs.
We stock a carefully curated selection of new release & reissue vinyl records, championing independent labels, local acts, cult heroes and whatever we find the most exciting. Alongside the records, we stock a curated selection of ever-changing books. Ranging from poetry, non-fiction, music history and biographies to books on the cosmic universe.
Over the last year we've grown a lot, part of that growth has been our collaboration with the beloved label Lost Map, a Scottish label unconstrained by genre, with a super strong sense of community. They rent our office space, and have a big presence in our store, meaning you can buy all of their merch and back catalogue from Good Vibes 🥳
We're really invested in supporting and growing the local scene, and love to show you the acts that we're most excited about by hosting the cosiest of instores. This year is hopefully gonna be a big one for us, with lots of exciting things in the diary. . .
