Join us on Thursday, 30th of April to welcome Bryan Karetnyk to the shop, where he will be in conversation with Sarah Gear about his work translating Yuri Felsen‘s The Recurrence of the Past trilogy. This event‘s focus will be on the newly-released second part of this trilogy, Happiness, which follows the critically acclaimed Deceit.

Join us for this in-person event at our St Stephen Street shop for what promises to be a fascinating discussion about language, translation, and the work of Yuri Felsen, one of the leading writers of his generation.

Some of the books for our upcoming events in situ!
April is shaping up to be a wildy varied and interesting month for events here at Golden Hare. You can book your spot online on our website or by visiting us in the shop if you‘re in the mood for a fiction, geology, or translation event!

First up, on Wednesday 15th of April we have the paperback launch of Idle Grounds by Krystelle Bamford, who will be in conversation with Aimee MacDonald!

On Thursday 16th of April, Vojta Hybl is joining us to discuss the stunningly illustrated (by Vojta himself!) book Rocks.

At the end of the month, on the 30th of April, we welcome to the shop Bryan Karetnyk, translator of Yuri Felsen‘s Happiness. Bryan will be in conversation with Sarah Gear.

Tickets are £6 or FREE with a purchase of the featured books. 📖
