Well I said I’d be honest and show the full journey to my dream becoming a reality of bringing the shop to life.
We made an offer and a submitted plans for an Edinburgh council owned unit on Candlemaker row but sadly we didn’t make the cut.
It’s disappointing when we get knock backs but there’s so many people fighting for the affordable properties it’s to be expected.
The way I’m seeing it is the universe didn’t think that one was meant for us.
We still have one offer for another unit ready to submit so we shall see how that goes.
Grant funding applications have also been submitted. Fingers and toes crossed in some funky yoga position lol 😂
There’s no such think as failure. Just learning ways that didn’t work for me to try new avenues.
