This time tomorrow our timed online stock clearance auction will be in full swing - about 3 hours into the 15+ hours the whole thing will take.
Here's a selection of ten lots. They are all currently available at £1 each. None of them have bids yet - and none of them have "watchers". With 3,700+ lots there will be some that people miss. There's still a few hundred like this which have no bids and no watchers. Get in there !

Here's eight lots from Monday's auction. Each is currently sitting with no bids *, and each has a reserve of just one pound. There's time yet for bids to come in, and for competition to start on some of these, but there's so much stuff in this auction there's bound to be bargains going. You could have fun for £20 ! (See how many lots you can pick up for a pound each ?)

I'm just going to show one item this evening, from our timed online auction which ends on Monday 30th March.
This is a lovely Christmas card, as fresh as if 1941 was yesterday. The crest on the front is of the Polish Armoured Trains (and includes "Essex - Devon - York - Perth"). Stuck inside is a set of the "London Stamps" issued by the Polish Government in Exile.
It is lot 2599 in the auction, with an estimate of £5 to £20, and like over 2,000 lots in the sale, only had a £1 reserve. I see there's been bidding on it and it is currently sitting at £11. Has it finished there, or does it still "have legs" ?
I've picked on this really as an example of the hundreds of interesting things up for sale. All you have to do is look. (What collector of Perth memorabilia would think of looking under Poland ?)

We've just put this in the shop window. Pure coincidence that there's an Ireland v Scotland fixture this Saturday . . . .
It's a 1989 souvenir cover for the Scotland vs. Ireland rugby match at Murrayfield, signed by what would appear to be all 21 Scottish players (inc. replacements), professionally framed along with a team photo. Very slight fading.
Most of the team shown went on to be part of David Sole's "Gladiators" the following year.
The price is £35. It's a one-off (it wasn't available commercially).

A Personal Update
Early in October I underwent emergency surgery (for a strangulated hernia) and this has knocked many plans on the head. I'm now (end of November) very close to full recovery, but for a few weeks I did little or no work.
Apologies are therefore due to anybody who has not had our attention as quickly as normal. We'll be catching up hopefully over the coming week or two.
This has also ruined my plans to have an auction in December. Keep in touch for new plans in due course.
