Just added lots of candle making workshops to the website. Come along and make a candle in a beautiful pale gold bauble jar and also make scented pine cone fire lighters. We will finish the workshop with a home made apple and almond cake made with apples from the garden.

Whether you’re planning to make a few handmade Christmas gifts or simply fancy a fun afternoon with friends, our Christmas candle making workshop is the perfect way to get into the festive spirit.

Could a candle or wax melt business work for you?

Over the past year at my candle making workshops, I’ve had so many lovely conversations with people saying things like:
“I’d love to do something creative from home one day.”

“I’ve always fancied starting a little business.”

“I’m approaching retirement but would still love a hobby and a small income.”

Next month I’ll be hosting a free Candle Business Open Studio ( near Edinburgh)— a relaxed, behind-the-scenes session for anyone curious about what it’s really like to run a candle business.
This isn’t a candle-making class, but more an honest look at:

✨ realistic startup costs
✨ common mistakes beginners make
✨ selling online and at markets

There’ll also be time to have a look around the workshop, ask questions, and get a feel for how everything works behind the scenes.
This isn’t a candle-making class — it’s more of a friendly taster session for anyone curious about whether starting a candle business could be something they’d enjoy.
