In which room would you place it?
Circa 1770. An early George III mahogany triangular shaped drop leaf table, the hinged triangular top with simple moulded fore-edge, the friezes with a pair of full-length drawers which are fixed to one side and sweep out, each with the original cast brass circular handle and back plate, beneath the drawers there are pierced quarter brackets, the table rests on four legs, which are square with extreme chamfering on the inside legs, one of the legs at the back is hinged and sweeps out to support the drop- leaf when open, a rare and unusual table.
