Tough decisions have been made, and we will be closing our doors.

I've loved having my own wee shop and the community that surrounds it, however after an extremely quiet year it has come the time to move on. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all customers, friends and colleagues that have helped create and build Moss & Fern. I will miss you.

Online orders will close on Tuesday evening, until then you can use code FARETHEEWELL to benefit from the 30% discount that will be in store. All orders will be shipped on Thursday 24hr tracked.

Some stunners arrived yesterday.

🌿 Philodendron 'Red Anderson' - so beautiful there's only ONE LEFT already.
🌿Begonia maculata 'Black Forest'
🌿Begonia rex-cultorum 'Black Mamba' - wanted these in for a while, not only are they goth AF they have blue irredescence!
🌿Pilea peperomiodes - two of the three Variegated varieties, 'Sugar' and 'Mojito'
🌿Homalomena wallisii 'Camouflage'
🌿 Strelitzia reginae - but itty bitty
🌿 Selenicereus werklei - my take home for the week!
🌿 Epiphyllum chrysocardium - another jungle cacti everyone should have.

It's been such a long time since we had orchids in! And what a bunch we have! An easier and less daunting orchid type than the usual phalaenopsis, these Cambria hybrids are STUNNING. you really must see them in person.

We also have more CHEAP AND EASY additions if you've still not got your halls/flat sorted students.

And the most BEAUTIFUL Calathea makoyanas and rhipsalis baccifera for those of you with pets.

Spot the dead flews.

Pinguicula or 'Butterworts' are my personal pick for fighting gnats and other small flies. The colour of the paddle shaped leaves draws them in and then the sticky surface traps and digests those pesky blighters.

Keep on a window sill in a few inches of water (not tap!) and they will thrive.
