We have just changed the Articles of Association for Ethibuy Ltd to include: "The purposes of the Company are to promote the success of the Company for the benefit of its members as a whole; and through its business and operations, to have a material positive impact on society and the environment, taken as a whole........" This statement which is part of the B Corp requirement, and something that we are very happy to adopt.

What was disappointing to see is that in the standard (default) articles (issued by Companies House), that nearly everyone uses to start a company, had 33 references to 'Chairman', honestly they need to do better!
