Flowers from the farmers market, with added garden sweet peas and japanese anemones, at home in the wild corner.

Jiji helping as usual, it is her table after all.

To be gifted flowers is to be gifted beauty, and ironically a rare gesture for a florist. Thanks and love to Broughton Street Flowers and Ciera for my birthday bunch πŸ’

A slightly belated happy anniversary to Dr Stacey Hunter and ❀️❀️❀️

Although I did do the flowers for her, my favourite image of the day is this first one of Stacey being an absolute ✨ DIVA ✨ bride

Stacey and Martin are two of my treasured best friends, I wish them many more years of effortless chic and true love πŸ’• πŸ’˜ 🌹🀍

Following my botanical styling work for 's HARVEST exhibition last year, asked me to produce some work to use in an article showcasing their favourite pieces (link in bio)

Large, naturalistic mossed forms juxtapose .spendley 's monolithic work and clean contemporary background with an idea of the landscape from which his work is inspired.

Smaller tufts pieces with perfect grasses peek out onto Oliver's weighty candlesticks and 's beautiful trinket trays for displaying favoured found items.

Many thanks to and

Easter Monday brunch with my nest 🐦

I like to sit with these smaller creations and follow the idea thread to bigger concepts. A larger spring tablescape with nest centerpieces, a huge nest filled with a large floral arrangement, tiny wren sized nests as place markers.... my head is full of ideas, my stomach is full of eggs. πŸ₯šπŸ³πŸ£πŸ₯š

If I were a bird in my garden, this is the nest I would make. Spirea, Ribes and Rosemary twigs woven with Winter Jasmine and last year's Crocosmia leaves. A soft bed of moss decorated with my favourite Muscari, the last of the Hyacinths, and the first of the Bluebells.

I obviously would lay mini eggs 🐦

We are getting all four seasons today in Edinburgh! While making this I've seen snow, sunshine, wind and now rain. Best to stay inside and eat chocolate eggs I think.

Happy Easter to all πŸ‡πŸ₯šπŸ³ 🐣

When I made these forest portals it wasn't my intention to callback a famous 80's movie... but 's incredible peach dress sealed the deal πŸ‘ I fear I have shown my age...

I'd love to expand on this concept, we didn't have a lot of time for this shoot and I want to explore the ideas further. But for now please enjoy some soft light and peach dreams ✨

Somewhere in an ancient Scottish forest, the fair folk dine on gilded fruit by the light of beeswax candles.

This shoot took place a wee while ago now, but the tricksy unseelie court prevented us from sharing until now. We spent time amongst the ferns of Kirkwood, a place dear to my heart, with a great team of creatives.

There is more to come from this shoot, including some fabulous content from , another gorgeous dress from , some different locations, and perhaps a fairy portal or three...
