We’ve just released something very special on our YouTube channel.

Last week at our Newcastle showroom, concert pianist Iago Núñez gave a full live demonstration of the Kawai Novus NV12 and NV6. We captured the entire session, along with a series of shorter performances and practical demonstrations.

If you’re considering a hybrid piano or simply enjoy hearing these instruments played properly, this is well worth a watch. It covers everything from classical repertoire through to real-world features like Bluetooth and play-along setups.

We had a fantastic evening recently at our Newcastle showroom, where pianist Iyad Sughayer gave a live performance on the Yamaha S6X grand piano.

It was one of those events that really reminds you what these instruments are capable of in the hands of a great player. An intimate setting, a full room, and some truly outstanding playing.

If you’ve never visited the Musical Museum, it’s well worth a trip. It’s a fascinating place for anyone interested in keyboard instruments, with everything from centuries-old mechanical pianos right through to more modern developments.

They’re also currently looking for volunteer tour guides, which would be a brilliant opportunity if you enjoy sharing knowledge and spending time around these instruments.
