Good evening everyone
This week has felt tender for us as a family, as we prepare to mark a milestone birthday for someone no longer here. I’ve spent the weekend in Amsterdam with my two daughters and my sister, doing something I know my son would have smiled at.
Today I’m sharing a journal page — the very first thing I created after he left us in 2024. It feels especially meaningful to share it now.
In a world that can feel heavy, a little kindness has a way of softening the edges and helping us keep going 🤍✨

Happy Friday everyone

Gosh, it’s been such a warm week, hasn’t it? It’s been far too hot in my little office, so crafting has taken a bit of a back seat. I did manage to create these ATCs for the IndigoBlu August swap though.

ATCs are such fun—tiny pieces of art measuring just 3½ inches by 2½ inches. If you haven’t joined the IndigoBlu swap before, head over to the I Love IndigoBlu page and sign up. This month I was paired with the lovely Lin Watson.

For my ATCs, I used the IndigoBlu Mega Magazine 11 for the background and image, then added metallic paint and sentiments to finish them off.

Hello!
It’s my daughter & son-in-law’s 10th wedding anniversary this week & instead of going down the traditional route of making something with a reference to tin, I decided to use my Vintage Blue Steam paper book which I haven’t had the opportunity to use yet.
I’m so glad I bought 2 of these books because I love every page 🥰
Has anyone else created any projects with this paper book?

What a glorious weekend it’s been weather‑wise — I’ve found it so hard to stay indoors while the sun’s been shining. I always struggle to take my crafting outside, so if you’re someone who does, I’d love to hear your tips. I can manage a bit of sewing outdoors, but that’s about it.
