Sad news about Dolly Parton. While she is well known as the Queen of Country, she was also an incredible human who did a huge amount of good in this world. She founded Dolly's Imagination Library which has helped 7 million books in the UK get to children. Worldwide, over 300 million free books have been gifted.

Excited to announce that Rashmi Sirdeshpande will be dropping by on Wednesday to sign copies of Hari Kumar: The Race Day Disaster.

If you'd like a signed and dedicated copy, you can order via the link in the comments. The Hari Kumar books are PERFECT for those who like diary style books - think Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Loki in style. Mamta Singh's illustrations are perfect and it's the ideal laugh out loud diary with lots of heart!

Say hi to our new friend, Nicole!

Nicole joins us from Powell's Bookstore all the way from Portland, Oregon. They are here on a bookshop exchange and we're so excited to spend the next three days learning from each other!

Nicole recommends The Fate of Fausto by Oliver Jeffers as a beautiful and timeless picture book, and is a big fan of Chainsaw Man.

Powell's is the biggest independent bookshop in the world and has over one million books in stock. It takes up an entire city block, so just a little bit bigger than Wonderland ;)

Come on down and say hi, Nicole is an artist and super knowledgeable about manga!
